A 2.5 hour in person workshop to learn the fundamentals of using palm tools to create unique textures to your favourite wooden items.

The course will start with an introduction and safety demonstration through some different techniques. You will then practice on some scrap pieces of hardwood before moving onto a final piece of a wooden pre framed block of basswood 8x8”. You will carve a unique texture, getting to grips with grain direction and carving techniques. you will then select the pre-made shapes to finish your art.

The class includes a guide to continue your new skill at home and the work of art created by you!
